My tranny is leaking and may be going bad. Today I found out I need an a/c compressoir so between the both they want 3500.00 I guess at this point its time for it to go.

Where is it leaking from? You could probably score a used compressor from the scrap yard pretty cheap.

Yesterday:
Replaced the pump in my carpet shampooer.
Cleaned the seats and center console...many times!
Got the seat mounts, passenger seat and center console back in, along with the electronics and rear seat.
I'm still washing the drivers seat, but it should go in tonight.

They said the tranny is a 3.00 gasket but you have to take the tranny out and its a 4x4. The compressor is leaking in the shaft. I' found some from online for 250. to 300.00 but they won't charge it or garrenty it. They said between the a/c and tranny its almost as much as I paid for the truck.

Get a compressor from the scrap yard for 50 bucks.

Can you drop the trans yourself? Did they tell you where it was leaking from??

Heated up and rebent my transfer case shifter so the I don't have to lean over and take my eyes off the road or trail to shift. I have to mount it backwards now...but 4 low doesn't end up with your hand about under the dash either!
