Not what I did to it but what I did with it. Starting to move and bring in my customers boats for spring run-up and tune-ups. The Ram is going to be pulling boats for the season this year, time for her to work for a change.

Pulled a friend's 95 Dodge Ram 3500 Cummins about 40 miles with just a chain after his new $5k tranny took a poop on him this weekend. My old girl did sweet! With the new 4.56's she pulls like a champ now!

 

just filled her up! 92 bucks and 24.605 gallons later shes full! price of regular was 3.739/gallon.

towed a 18' car trailer unloaded 46 miles one way, then pulled the same trailer back 46 miles loaded with ajeep grand cherokee on tuesday.

i averaged 10.27 mpg thru the whole week on the one tank, which is the same tank i towed the jeep on. not too shabby!!!

Did a real risky thing today... A guy in Houston shipped me his Detroit locker and I paypal'd him $300 plus shipping. It'd be nice if it actually shows up... I had a good feeling about it, so I went out on a limb, and hopefully everything goes the way it should. I am excited to start collecting parts to do my gear swap!

Wife just got back from Houstin this evening....comes out to garage and asks, "What did you buy while I was gone?" Gees. It is getting harder and harder to get by with things if she knows I amd considering buying something! Scary!


Got most clear coat buffed. Just lack passenger side doors abd passenger side of bed and then roof.

 

Yea and he sent a picture of the receipt too. It's on it's way.
