Bought it for $1000, not running. Put a fuel pump in and now it runs like a raped ape.

Finished the kegger mod I started yesterday. Hope I can get it painted, and all the rest of the stuff attached, so it'll be a quick swap out someday. Though unlike the first time I fixed the plenum, I'll be doing a double roller timing chain while I'm in there. Regret not doing it the first time.

 

I'm gonna cut the fart can off, tint the windows, put brakes on it and keep it. Its too nice to let it go...Its a freakin 80's Honda that hasnt been beat to death or is rusted out.

 

Gets better mileage than the truck too.....

 

ok, went to the salvage yard got 2 front fenders, sliding rear window, inner fender well . this week Ill start puttin the stuff on Have to keep my baby up and runnin oh, I still have 21 in my fault codes and 37 after it warms up runs ok but wants to almost stall idles real low... im still triing to figure this out Keep on wrenchin guys have fun

 

Finished Dana 60 swap. Waiting to get rear drive shaft shortened this week.

 

After having gone to work and back this weekend. No pinging at all, and it used half the gas it usually does. Returned me with 13 mpg. Sooo happy. I usually get 10.5 to 11 on a good day. Can't wait to SeaFoam it and get more power.

 

So after almost 2 weeks of being sick (it started with little cough) finally let the women drive me (in the Ram) to the E.R. Turns out I got pneumonia in the right lung, upper lobe. Ain't that some bullsh!t.

I discovered yesterday that if you unplug and re-plug the coil wire with the key on you get an engine light.

Had to yank the negative battery cable and pull the headlight switch to get it to stop. But it's gone now.
