Seafoamed the crankcase and ran it through the intake. Changed the oil. Installed an aftermarket muffler. The muffler is dynomax cheapo, just a tiny bit different sound the oe. Sounds nice in the higher rpm range.
May have a leak since I ran the seafoam through, must have removed a peice of sludge that was sealing lol. I think it is coming from the valve cover gasket. Probably going to get some new valve covers and obviously new gaskets.

Hopefully fixed my occasional hanging up idle/ fluctuating idle at stops, with a new IAC sensor. Truck "seems" to idle much smoother through red lights now.
Also got my modified manifold painted. Just need a set of fuel rails to paint red. Valve covers to paint red. Tstat housing bolts. Manifold gaskets/ bolts, and new injector o-rings, and I'm ready to swap I think....I'm sure I'll realize something the day of swapping though. Never fails.

Pinpointed the leak and it wasn't oil it was coolant coming from the thermostat housing area. Not sure why but it's a easy fix anyways.
But I will go over my valve cover bolts just to make sure they are tight.

...more useful than air horns...imho....and reducing load on engine as well as wear on water pump bearings will increase pump life. Important is based on owner needs. just saying.....
Installed e-fan and started wiring. Tightened valve covers. About 8 bolts loose between the two. Painted cruise conrtol unit before reinstalling it. Gotta test it out before HS rockers arrive (hopefully this week) so I can get a feel for the differnce the fan alone makes.
