truck is all back together minus the front driveshaft, that will go back in another day.

truck shifts smoothly, and can already tell a difference in shifts with the Borg Warner gov solenoid!

also..... i scored a 3k dollar queen size adjustable sleep number bed for basically free from my neighbor! all i have to do is plow his driveway and shovel the paths for him for 2 winters!

Any issues getting the helicoil in? Those can drive you crazy getting them in sometimes.

I need to do most of what you did. Change fluid, install drain plug and new filter along with the gov solenoid and sensor.

You ever help redneck install his cab lites? Ive been doing work on another DF members truck that lives in Milford, you are in amherst(spelling) right. The 3 of us need to hookup. Before I lose my house.

I'm in Milford too. We definitely need to get together and compare notes.

I haven't gotten with Redneck yet. I was supposed to locate some additional screws and washers/o-rings. I have a set of lights from ebay and I'm missing several of the screw/washer combo's. The closest I can find is a #8 machine screw but the thread pitch is different form the factory screws. I have to check sanels or robbins auto for the o-rings. Somebody told me AC system o-rings go small enough.

Didn't do anything to the Ram today, the wife drove it to town....

But I did install a new radiator on my grandfather's BMW 525i, it's pretty much the same as changing out the radiator on the Ram, only with different, more stubborn clips that hold it down....

I haven't fixed those light mounts yet, but I've been working on the various scratches and chips around the body. Actually makes a big difference in the appearance.
Also checked the number 8 spark plug and plenum yesterday.
Both looking good.

I agree! A friend of mine (The one who bought my Lexus actually), gave me a red touch up paint pen/brush thing, and I hit a lot of spots on the truck, and even though the paint isn't a 100% perfect match, its really close and it looks way better than it did before.

(Plus it stops the rust...)
