Cleaned up the Ram today. Wash and vacuum. Nothing too special, didn't spend a lot of time. And....the Ram has a STRIPE now. It ain't blue, but it'll do!
I had some inconsistencies in the spraying, but I'll touch it up tomorrow. It started to thunder and I was getting mauled by a big pansy of a German Shepherd. My tape caused some rough edging, but that's what I get for buying Dollar General "automotive tape", which I DO NOT recommend.
And another picture, just because:

Do it! I guarantee a 50hp gain, atleast! lol.
Thanks for the positive comments, guys. I woke up this morning and just hand the overwhelming urge to paint a stripe on something. The dog wouldn't hold still long enough for a stripe, so I went with the Ram.

Saving money on tape is not really saving money. For a good clean edge, the green 3M automotive masking tape is worth the cost. It will give a good clean edge. Even the tan masking tape (3M) for automotive is different and therefore better for painting as it does not leave the residue that plain masking tape may leave. I discovered this in the begiinnig stages of my paint work on my Ram.
(see what you got started 2X1972? )

Got the parts back today. Finished installing the bumper, re-installed the tailgate and rear flares. Had the body shop paint match the bumper and fix the tailgate and flares. Everything looks great, but the bumper has a bend to it we couldn't fix. It came that way and the only way to fix it would have been to cut it back apart and re-weld it.
