Looks like some of the boat motors I work on, have fun. I hope you get a good deal on oil because you are going to need lot's of it. Need pix of the grey sludge oil when you get that far.

That was from the ford i was working on. It was pretty nasty. I warned him about the need if changing the oil and flushing the coolant sytem at least 3 times.

Given the amount of water in the oil pan, I wouldn't hold out a lot of hope for the bottom end of that motor...... I have seen a few that looked that bad, that didn't knock when I disassembled them, but, once they were back together, and had real oil in them again.... sounded like some dwarves were in the block, trying to beat their way out...... Warn the guy that might happen......

Cleaned up the Ram today. Wash and vacuum. Nothing too special, didn't spend a lot of time. And....the Ram has a STRIPE now. It ain't blue, but it'll do!

I had some inconsistencies in the spraying, but I'll touch it up tomorrow. It started to thunder and I was getting mauled by a big pansy of a German Shepherd. My tape caused some rough edging, but that's what I get for buying Dollar General "automotive tape", which I DO NOT recommend.

And another picture, just because:

The bottom end seems to be in decent shape. I told him that there is a chance of a bent connecting rod after seeing all the water in the cylinders but only time will tell. I hope it works out for the better seeing as he just bought the car 1 week ago...

Darn It!!! Now I feel the need to go paint a stripe on my truck.
