I am currently siphoning the gas out of my non-running ram and pouring it into my Mazda 3; therefore it's getting ~30mpg.

My 94 1500 5.2 is averaging 16 on the three trips I've taken it on up and down the I-15 from the Mexican border to the Canadian. And that's with a problem with the fuel pump. I gotta keep it above a half tank or I lose power unless I slow down to ~30mph and shift to 3rd.

13.5 mpg on my last tank after an hour math lesson and 5 more minutes of intense math to use my Canadian reciept and kilometer'age to change it to MPG.

On a side note, my trans is getting rebuilt right now, could I expect my mpgs to change at all?

Depends on a lot of things. But you shouldn't notice anything big unless the old one was in real bad shape. The 46 re in my old 98 was junk. The idiot who installed valve body and gpr put generic fluid in there with conditioner. Destroyed the transmission after a while, and killed mileage, butt not by much. Hard to tell now much was the shift kit, fluids, etc, but I lost about 1 mpg.

Maybe a little bit.

Just drove from Baytown Tx to Ponca City Ok., and averaged 17.6 MPG with the air on and running mostly in cruise about 2-3 over the limit.
