That is the ultimate air shock...it's mounted to the air!!

Yeah, I didn't get a chance to ask the mean piece of yokes that ujoint holds. I was thinking one of those gigantic quarry dump trucks.

Transfer Case
Done -> Mount BB to 241, RTV
Done -> Assemble shifters for 241 and BB (still needs lever installed though)

What made you go with the Black Box over a Strongbox or other 231/241 planetary doubler.

I have been considering a Strong Box as I plan to run a Ford NP205 behind my double so I can sacrifice the 231 for the gearset.

Sorry if I missed something, but what front driveshaft are you going with?

Default Floor shifter and Sway Bar Link Tabs

Floor shifter has a flange that is to be used in any means needed by end user. I decided to use 4 bolts and have a mating plate on other side of body sheet metal to clamp. Large enough to spread the load, however, the shifter is pretty smooth.

I also cut out tabs from some 3/8" plate. Drilled the holes for my existing sway bar links. Got driver side fully welded on in the dark. Passenger is tacked and will finish tomorrow.

Putting my previous dual adjustable arms up for sale. 1 set of rod ends could go with them.

I've reviewed the BB, the Strong Box, and the Box4rocks doubler over the past year. All are aftermarket planetary gear boxes, not mated tcases. I talked to many people, searched out reviews, etc.

My choice came down to support, reviews, and quality. The BB is considered a production level product with alot of background to stand on. Strong Box has stumbled, but is quickly moving to production level, however, I can't speak to it's quality. The box4rocks was actually my first choice, however, the 1 man show is hit and miss. I just couldn't rely on that.

Mating two tcases is not bad, but just a real tough thing to package. Requires an adapter and sometimes aluminum welding. They don't have a place in street vehicles in my opinion.

About 3 fingers thick. Biggest one this close to the house. Just weird he worked his way up there while I was working, making all kinds of noise. Buddy came over to help with his BB gun. That didn't take him all out b/c his shooting sucks. lol But was enough to reduce motion to shovel him.

See the tack weld near the cotter pin?

I'm down to the last darn 1%

Brakes bled. That was a chore doing it solo.

Here is the shock charging session

Steering appears spot on....

Charged to 250 psi to start. It added 2" of lift.

Last 1%

Rear shocks mount on axle. Kinda tough with them extended.

Diff fluid. Pulled brain fart about 11pm last night. So laugh it up. Looked at the plug and was like...I don't have a square tool to go in there.... lol So no fluid last night.

Tcase shfiters need adjustment.

1 ARB solenoid does not work.
