^^^ The 60 has four bolts but yep you are right, 3lb hammer nope bigger 10lbs. The 44 are much ezer to do then the 60's those bolts are in the knuckle much deeper, hence the extension and the socket.

Oh the backside, that makes much more sense

Edit: I just used a 3 jaw puller. It came right off

It's frustrating! But worth it. After I get the front done and painted the rear will be a breeze, then it's buy parts and put them in!

I can't get the lower ball joint off. How is it supposed to press out?

It gets pressed up. Meaning it goes towards the knuckle. FSM page 2-10.

Do you have a Harbor Freight near you? You can get their BJ press and use it? I'm assuming you don't have a press....?

You must be having hard time keeping the axle from moving too?

Upwards? So toward the upper ball joint?

I actually have a press, borrowed from the shop at the dealership dad works at
