Do you think (or anybody) the Moog uses thicker tubes along with the larger ball joints (Problem Solver)? I want it to bolt up exactly like yours did but don't want anything cheap as this is my DD and only rig. Thanks.
My guess would be no, but you may want to bring in Heyyou or Wh1t3NuKle to confirm since they may have seen other threads on the topic.

Unfortunately this is the only picture I took Saturday while working on the truck. Got two fresh ball joints in the passenger side. The top one was completely shot. Feels so much stiffer and confident going over bumps in the road now.

Wow! It'really turning out nice. I love the purple. I might copy what you did to the body to make mine look better for a while. I was contemplating welding in new metal.

How did you attach the screen to the pickup? Did you trim the metal back to good metal?

I took a grinder to all the rust spots and made sure that I was getting rid of all the body parts that had no rigidness to them. After that I just took screen that you would use on a screen door and some quick setting adhesive to connect make a connection between the body panels that were empty. Then just one coat of thin bondo that fills in all the holes of the screen. Let that dry then start getting some thicker coats on.

From a distance it looks pretty good. Obviously from up close you can tell its not perfect, but it's just a work truck that will see lots of salty winters ahead. About -10F this morning and she fired right up and took me to work

Thanks! I may try this on ours this summer. It would look a lot better and I could still weld new panels in later. We have to do the passenger side on my daughter's truck yet, and she has a better bed that needs some TLC also.

Just picked up 15x10 Centerline Hellcats for $175 and a full set of fender flares and molded mudflaps for $40. Thinking of going with 33x12.5 Falken Wild Peaks come tax return time. Just tested the rims this afternoon and they clear the calipers so I should be all set to go!

What gears do you have in your axles?

Just checked under the hood this morning and I have 3.5. I found a set of the same tire in 32x11.5, would that be more suitable? I am not trying to stuff the biggest tire I can, would just like it to be a bit bigger than the 265s I have right now.

Edit: I just checked the specs on 32x11.5 Falken Wild Peak and they are approved for a 10" rim so if you think this would be less stress then I will go with these instead of 33s

That'll be better..... can always upgrade gears at a later date, and then go with the larger tires.
