The cam sensor was the culprit for the 3000 rpm cutoff. The MAP sensor not being plugged in might have had something to do with it too, along with the MIL code. Oops
I've been trying to load the video I got before I found the MAP sensor, but either my phone is being slow, or my Internet is really dragging. 3+ hours to load a 5 minute video just isn't cutting it.
Took a picture of the info my laptop was giving me. I think this was after changing the cam sensor, and before I found the MAP sensor unplugged.
It sounds even better now with about 100 miles on it... and all of the sensors working. You'll notice the A/F ratio running around 11-1. After I stopped recording it was around 14.6. By product of the sensor I guess.
Yeah, that seems to be pulling a LOT of fuel....... What dod the numbers look like now?

I also noticed that the manifold absolute pressure reads as a psi, guess that's just how the computer translates it. The psi reading there is truly in/hg (inches/mercury for those not use to that code) and is accurate according to my old vacuum gauge.
On a side note, chasing a P0441 (I think that's the number?) Intermittent loss of ckp/cmp. No misses or stutters. It just popped up again today after about 100 miles since the last one. Of course the freeze frame data was showing the first instance, so I may have to do a hard reset and see if that helps.
Other than that, the truck is running great at 130 miles into the break in. I'm probably going to do another oil change soon and pop the valve covers off just to check everything out.
I had that same P0441 (I think that's the number?) Intermittent loss of ckp/cmp code when I did my cam swap. It came and went but It went away for good when I finally dialed my fuel sync in with a Mt2500.
