dude, again all we ask is you LISTEN to our advice. thats why everyone is being short and bein an *** to you, is because you are playin the perfect 18 year old kid role.

When you ask for help, listen. Dont let it go in one ear and out the other.

Good for you, you did some dif work. Its the first step in the right direction, but your other things are makin people over look that. Just do us all a favor, when you ask some advice, take it. dont go the opposite direction because youve already got your mind made up.

My father just paid(2 weeks ago) $1800.00 for his rebuilt trans and new TC (Mr Transmission) in a 1997 CC 1500 with 170,000 miles, and no problems so far, runs like new he says. What needed replacement that made it cost $4,000.00 for your rebuild. Just want to know if mine kicks the bucket and there is more damage then just burned up..Thanks

Yeah I hear that. I do make attempts to take advice. You guys helped me through my rear differential job, and I took it in. With this transmission situation, I'm telling you that there wasn't an option for me to buy a unit over the internet, just wasn't going to happen, my parents would not condone that. So with the current situation I'm in, I'm reporting to you guys what's going on. Nobody really seems to know what's causing the issue either, there just romping on me.

With that said, I don't get enough credit for listenting either. As often as I do my own thing, I follow the forum as well. But do not categorize me as a typical 18 year old. I've always exceeded the maturity level of my peers. Most of my friends are in their early and mid 20s, and that is not a mistake. It's always been my style. While my friends were out burning braincells and getting waisted, I was enjoying myself with my rig and having true friendships that weren't based off partying. And last but not least, having fun with the ladies. My truck is only a small portion of my life. It's my passion and it is my hobby, so you can't sum my character up with decisions I make over an automobile, it's just not logical. I'm mature for my age and I believe I'm a pretty smart guy. There is nothing wrong with trying to do your own thing either. Some people have an issue with younger guys trying to take initiative on your own. I know when I make mistakes and I can admit to them. I'm always learning. Hence why I'm asking for tips and suggesstions on this situation. But for the record, I am not an *******, nor am I ignornant.

well i think what you need to do, is go to the trans shop and show your ***. Dont leave till you have the build sheet, and a signed promise to have the trans fixed. threaten legal action.

you cant be a ***** with your truck. Ive beat asses over mine, shouldnt stop you.

Completely agree. Very few things make me go loco, and that's family, girls, and my truck. Mess with one of them and I go crazy. Went in there today and said I needed the vehicle back before the weekened. I told Mark that if the vehicle isn't repaired before the weekened, I am taking legal action. He told me that the technician purchased a new processor for the wiring harness. He told me to call him late Thursday day to see where the progess is. So as of now, I'm waiting till 4 o'clock Thursday. Time is of the essence.

A processor for the wiring harness? Are you sure you heard him right?

Only ask because usually a harness is exactly that... a piece of plastic that harnesses wires going into it. A processor? Either he's feeding you full of sh**, or I am missing a definition for the word "processor".

I think that dude is feeding you crap. However, I could be wrong as I have been before. I've just never heard of a processor. The only thing I could even think of would be the ecm or computer which is for the main wiring harness of the truck and I doubt the transmission shop would be replacing that for free since it would have nothing to do with the transmission.
