That stuff is foam ... the stuff I used is really soft rubbery foam ... peel-n-stick ... if I used zip-ties, they would probably cut it.

Prolly. It takes a Quart of fluid. I am going to use it for my transmission fillter.

i would imagine theres a reason that the engineers decided to go with a certain sized filter. yet again, not all the engineers are that smart, as we all know.

We discussed this before. They used a smaller filter simply because it is cheaper. They used a steel plenum plate on a aluminum intake manifold because it is cheaper and so forth.....

I second that!!! when was the last time you heard Chrysler producing a product or going beyond what they needed to? It's all about profit...even though there not to good at that either. Can someone say bankruptcy?
