ABS & Brake Light Help

Well the ABS & Brake light came back on about a hour ago when i started the truck so should i try replacing it or maybe try to clean the front one?

tail housing of trans on 2wd. tail housing of t-case on 4wd (i think). anyway, its at the rear, and has an elcctrical plug attached. very easy to get to and change. also cheap, about $16 at autozone. a little bit of trans fluid will run out when you remove it, so swap it sort of quick.

if it was me i'd just replace it and move on.
if money is tight, do a search on ABS and Brake and see how many people posted the solution as the trans sensor vs the diff sensor. i think the majority is rear diff.

Well 2 days ago i replaced the sensor today the ABS & Brake light came on when i started the car and then i turned it off a few times and back on and it went away its still doing the same crap now what??

Take it to your favorite auto parts store, that has a scanner, and have them tell you what code is being set. You can "guess" and throw parts at it from now till doomsday, and still not get the right one.

Find out what the computer thinks the problem is, and then fix it.

My friend has a scanner i already scanned it 3 different times and it said it had found no codes

Couldn tell ya but i got a speedin ticket to prove it, state trooper clocked me goin 85 and i was goin 85 lol

Usually only an ABS code reader will work. The only place I have found to have one is the dealer.
