I think this is it ,
1~ Lock the truck "All doors", Unlock driver door with the key, within 5 seconds turn to unlock position again..
2~ Get in - close all the doors..
3~ Put the key in the Ignition , Turn it ON~OFF- "FOUR times", Ending on the "ON" position , Don't crank engine..
4~ Press the drivers side power door lock switch to lock within 30 seconds..
5~You will hear a single chime when programming is complete and the automatic door locks feature will be deactivated..
6~TO Activate the feature again , follow steps 2~5 again..

I don't know if this will work ~ try it anyway..If that don't work you'll have to contact Dodge and get another Remote Keyless entry...

Yeah If I had nonskim non alarm dash and harness and PDC I think it would. This truck was the top of the line model so it. Came with all the factory security that is really frustrating. My 97 is an Slt but I'm not sure what they have changed in between years. Essentially what I have found out is that with the key in it needs a double pulse to deactivate the alarm. The only way to get that is by doing an aftermarket alarm since the door lock modules went with the donor truck.

ok. then it might be best to have a professional alarm installer go through things for you. aleast then you can rule that out of the equation

George always knows what to do it seems. He has done two swaps in the time its taken me to get halfway done with mine. My biggest mistake was buying a donor without keys.

Not nessisarily true , There are junkyards that sell steering columns "With Keys", But you have to find a junkyard that gives a crap enough to keep the key in it..

Should be able to figger out what key the pcm wants for the alarm, and then just permanently wire in the correct value resistor to bypass the system entirely.

Talk to the alarm dealer if you find an aftermarket alarm.. IF that won't work let me know and I'll send you this 2003 Dash harness..
