Velocity isn't everything though, you can have high velocity, but low volume, and gain nothing..... or even LOSE power.

True. Volume's not everything niether is velocity. They go together in some way that I'm sure I can't fathom.

Filling the plenum area creates a stronger vacuum signal to the fuel injection. This stronger signal helps to offset the signal lost to large duration camshafts and large port throttle bodies.
And how many of us are using cams large enough to require a boost of the vacuum signal to the PCM?

I will freely admit that I am not an engineer, however, I still don't see how this improves power at all. Looks more like a bandaid to fix a problem introduced with larger cams, instead of doing it the 'right way'™ and fixing it in the tune for the PCM.

It works on the same principle as the Fitch Fuel Catalyst: "I want to perceive a difference so I won't feel like a witless dolt, and by golly I do perceive a difference so I must be freakin' genius!"

You really need to stop doing that. Do you know how hard it is to get coffee off of an LCD monitor? And I just cleaned it yesterday. Dammit.

On the other hand.......

well I think I will be staying with the regular volume in my plenum. I have been reading up on this and I think like the others that its alot of work for little gain. That and the fact that I dont know what kind of epoxy to use and how much i need etc. But its been good to see others perspectives on this subject.

Well I don't know how well it will work. I just talked to a guy that told me it gave him more bottom end and he told me this is his second one the first had no epoxy and he is going to do another one and try something different. I am going to do it and see how it works.

That is quite a bit of work, for very little gain. The epoxy that is. Waste of time IMO.
