408 stroker build
good thing you advised me against washing with water! the rust began to faintly show after hitting it with brake clean so i sprayed it with wd40 real quick after i was done.
Torque it once, walk away for 15 minutes, then again same procedure, then the final time.
Out took me 5 times of this procedure to get the head bolts to stop taking torque when I swapped my heads.

YEP but only 5 pictures. Not a very good ratio. Need some pictures lets see what you got going on over there.
X2 WERES THE **** @ ? Building a turbo 426 stroker but no one gets to see it its a secret shhhhh lol.......
i applied quickseat powder to the cylinders. i then applied a light coat of oil to the skirt only. it went into the whole with relative ease. but when i removed the compressor i noticed some metal shavings on the deck.
seems like the cylinders need wet lube but the total seal reccomends the dry lube powder.

thats what i was thinking. i just didnt like the idea of metal shavings in the cylinder possibly. might put some oil on the cylinders. the piston seems to drag alot with just quickseat and i dont want to scuff up the cylinder.
