May soak it in PB or something. Any dirt or corrosion in the bore abouve the O-Rings will make it difficult to pull out.

Thanks again TR Fan, the PB worked with the injectors/rail...Next PROBLEM, I PB blasted the IM bolts, tapped on them again and the first one snapped. (head only). First question does anyone know (for sure) does the IM bolt holes on the IM have threads or are the smooth...PLEASE say smooth, but don't lie, I can handle the truth

Threaded all the way up. Also, the four end bolts (front two, back two) stick out into open air, not into the valley on the engine.... so, they tend to be problematic...... You can still lift the intake off of them though.

Max that will snap off is four, I should think. And look at it this way...... at least there will be plenty to grab ahold of to extract them once the manifold is out of the way.

And don't use PB. Get some Cyclo Breakaway at least. And once you get a hold of the stud with something, shake, wiggle and turn it in both directions(as in tighten and loosen).

Yeah no WD-40 over here..So I center punched the broken bolts, drilled holes and tapped in an extractor. And, it snapped it off (I used the fluted type too) Anyways, I didn't realize but the IM bolt holes aren't threaded so I'm hoping to get the one bolt out and try to lift the IM up off the last one...as usual simplicity eludes me..

Once the bolts are removed (either backed out or broken off) the IM will lift off. It is easier to get the broken ones with IM out of the way. I used vice grips and lots of chemicals and time. Don;t get in a rush...take you time.
