id go ahead and check all of your mount just to be on the safe side, can you post a pick of what your body mounts look like. it may be time for new bushings

Re-torque the lower shock bolts.

Oh like the shock is fully extended sitting flat and when I hit a bump or my axle flexes the shock bangs because it is fully extended. How would I check this what would be the easiest way,

Tomorrow I will tighten the bottom bolts on the shocks and run over all of the bolts just to check everything. Thanks guys.

I can get a picture up here tomorrow it's dark out now.. Damn Ohio winters. Is there just the 2 mounts in the front of the truck? is there any like by the wheel wells up front?

Behind the wheel well. You'll see them. They are hard to miss.
I doubt just driving down the road with a 3" lift you are over extending your shocks, but if you've never replaced them you should with as old of a truck you have.
It could just be your body mounts. Could be some of your bolts on other parts aren't tight enough. A big one for me would be all of the bolts around your shocks.
For control arms you shouldn't get much noise with the angle. It just alters your pinion angle. Knocking from them you'd feel in the floor board.
A bad track bar causes wander and not so much a knocking noise.
