Here is a truck I did for my 02 sensors start the truck let it get hot. Spray it with PB Blaster, a lot of it. Heat it up with a torch spray PB Blaster on it cut the wire skip a socket on it with a breaker bar plus a jack handle. It will come off like cake.

It's the pipe, and the part it threads into you wanna get hot. You can have it glowing cherry red, and it won't trash the threads.

Ok great ty,i have to disassemble the whole exhaust it's to tight to get the upstream sensor out.

I never had to.... Yeah, it's close.... I used a pipe wrench on mine. (but, I was replacing it too......) Didn't hurt it...

I used a 7" pipe wrench but the part on the transmission pan gets in the way

Yeah, I think the exhaust was a bit different on the 96.

My 96 was fantastic,this 2000 has gone thru alotta repairs since 2014
