Default Anything special about markings?

I take it you guys use a threaded puller usually, but anything special about the markings? I have it set to TDC on the compression stroke.

The chain looks sagging, but the marks are in time. This sucks

Since you are there, I would replace the chain anyway, then take it and have fuel sync set. Move the distributor to align the marks a bit better, while everything else is set. See if it runs any better.

Yeah, that chain is really loose. The other possibility is the outer ring on the balancer moved.

Default Possibilities

I’m wondering if I bumped the distributor when I was doing the rotor and cap? However, I can’t turn it by hand currently, so it needs to be loosen. So, I’m wondering if the we rotor is off from the manufacture or plant? It’s from Autozone, but I also bought one from track Auto, so it seems unlikely that both are bad from the factory.

While you have it all off consider replacing the water pump if it's the original.

That is a good idea, so can you send me money? J/k I’ve already dumped too much already, so now I’m trying to save as much as possible. Thanks for the recommendations though 😉
