Whatever is easy to do with the engine hanging off a stand, I would be REAL tempted to get it done. Much easier than having to work in the engine bay.

I finally picked up the replacement V10! The guys that pulled it out treated it like a junkyard rig! Damaged my fuel rail and pinched a few wires.
So, what is this gunpowder looking stuff coming out of that plastic deal that is bolt to the plenum manifold on the driver's side?

That's from a charcoal canister that failed. Use all the accessories and such from your original engine. Safer that way.

Looks like the only difference in options from the donor truck was it was a manual tranny and had no cruise control. Wonder if that messes much up?

No it shouldn't as long as you use your electronics and I can't see the mice picture
