Probably accomplish the same thing by making sure the TV cable is adjusted properly.

When you come to a stop, does it feel like trying to stop a manual trans truck without pushing in the clutch?

yes, coming from daily driving a manual to this, yes. It does. I believe it’s the tcc or something. Which worries me because it’s a brand new torque converter. I no longer feel the tcc lock up i notice a large drop in RPM from 2nd to 3rd. So it makes me think it’s stuck which once again worries me because it’s brand new. BUT if y’all wanna have a good laugh, I was driving down the interstate last night and my transfer case kicked itself into 4hi so my transfer case blew up and shot my drive shaft out. So tomorrow I have to put a new transfer case and drive shaft in. Lol, you fix one thing it’s then another ain’t it? lol but I’ll have the transfer case in tomorrow working on that tv cable when I’m doing all that as well. Supposed to be a warm day tomorrow so hopefully something helps. I’m not sure what else to do if that doesn’t fix it.

Ok... so bigger problem... it not only broke my transfer case, but it broke the bolt holes on the tail shaft.... meaning if I put my transfer case now there would be only one bolt holding it up. So... I still have my peices.... and this could be a stupid question... but does anyone think I could JB weld them back to the tail shaft? I have a new transfer case but it won’t matter because the tail shaft broke which was new. And that’s why I’m kind of mad.

JB weld won't hold. It will break the first time you stip on the gas. Is the adapter between the t-case, and o/d unit a separate piece? If it is, replace it, if it isn't, you can replace just he o/d unit. (need one from another 4x4.)

see I was afraid of that... the adapter isn’t a separate piece... I just got this stupid thing in and now to replace the od unit I’ll have to drop the crossmember. And not only that but I just bought a new transfer case with the last bit of my money so I’m pretty upset because now I don’t have a ride for a while.
