If there is a lot of crap in the pan, that would explain a lot...... I have seen them with gelled oil in them..... so they essentially had zero capacity. (and yes, the engine was smoked.)
If I pop the drain plug can I stick a screw driver in it to see if has any stuff in the pan I don’t really want to wast an oil change but better then wasting a engine lol
Don’t they make anything that can go in motor oil and clean the jelly out? I just figured I’d ask because seafoam and mmo usually are recommended for everything lol but I’ll pop drain plug and try and get a video and stick something in the oil pan to try and see if there’s sludge
If it's that bad, I would be real tempted to actually PULL the pan, and clean it out. If your truck is a 4x4, I think you can get the pan out without lifting the engine.
Another problem I had was my reverse lights I noticed didn’t come on no matter the gear or anything the bulbs are good fuses look good any ideas I’ve herd nutral safety switch but my truck won’t crank in any other gear besides park I haven’t tried nutral? And my emergency brake light stays on but my ebrake works? Any ideas lol sorry for so many questions
