I think I might pop oil plug and see if it gushes out or just drizzles that’ll tell me if its stopped up correct?

If there is a lot of crap in the pan, that would explain a lot...... I have seen them with gelled oil in them..... so they essentially had zero capacity. (and yes, the engine was smoked.)

Don’t they make anything that can go in motor oil and clean the jelly out? I just figured I’d ask because seafoam and mmo usually are recommended for everything lol but I’ll pop drain plug and try and get a video and stick something in the oil pan to try and see if there’s sludge

If it's that bad, I would be real tempted to actually PULL the pan, and clean it out. If your truck is a 4x4, I think you can get the pan out without lifting the engine.

Oh okay and yeah it is 4x4 I was thanking about running that stuff in it and if it got a lot out then I’d leave it but if not I’d pull the pan

My reverse lights don't work either, but, I haven't really dug into that one yet. The neutral safety switch is the first place I would look though.

Brake light being on may be as easy as low brake fluid, or bad sensor. (if you have one.....)
