Be easier to just sell it, and get a truck with the diesel.....

I love my 8.0. I have never experienced a smoother running engine.

I love myn as well but it seems to me if I ever had to replace the engine it would be close to impossible to find another one

Yeah, likely it would be 'different truck' time..... But, when I was looking, I regularly found them with well over 200K miles on them.... a significant percentage of them were close to 300K..... I don't think the engine blowing up will spell the end of mine, I more suspect it will be some funky sensor that I can't get any more.

Lol for sure myn has 228k on it still runs like a champ but we live in the mountains with snow and mud every now and again so sometimes you have to get on it a little bit I’m just worried that if I was to brake something it would be impossible to find another motor But I’ve put so much in the truck already I’d hate to get rid of it

How in the world are you suppose to flush a heater core in one of the v10s I can’t find it anywhere on someone doing it

I looked at mine. It appears that getting to the fittings at the core itself, is impossible without pulling at least the upper intake off...... I think (if I remember right) both hoses run around the drivers side of the engine, UNDER that part of the intake.... and go up to the front. So, just pull the hoses off at the front, and backflush from there. Yeah, that's gonna be a lotta fun..... I suspect that coolant will want to run out from every hole you open as well. Have some corks handy.
