there lots of youtube videos on how to rebuild dodge transmissions. This one video is for a 46RE, but for the most part the RH and RE are fairly similar, your is all hydraulic except for the converter. I've done a few RH and 727 trans rebuilds, and they are pretty straight forward.
Post a picture of the snap ring? I had a broken ring one in the pan of my 2001 dodge 1500 ram, but it still been working. I found a cheap transmission/engine spare on kijji.

Great, TY, I researched the number on the tranny case, the best I could tell it was a RH, it has the OverDrive button on the dash , again it is a 1994. I haven't ordered the build sheet from Dodge Co yet although I intend to. I did talk to the elderly gentleman that I bought it from ( he is 80 years of age} and he told me that he would bet that tranny don't have 5000 miles on it. The torque converter still a nice bright shiny blue... The whole thing looks like it could plausible an something just happened. The seals are still look new even the driveshaft spline seal isn't hard or corrupted. I'm going to take some photos just to get some input from somebody with a whole lot more knowledge that I.
