UPDATE:
Good news, rebuild kit came in today. This will light a fire under me. lol. Anyway, I also looked up the guy on eBay. His company is called Total Transmission Chicago. I have spoken with him through eBay and he was the one who said I should get a low stall around 1800 like OE so I messaged him seeing what the cost would be. His company rebuild convertors so this may work out and I can get the convertor I need at a good price. Thanks Guys

Finally got the bolt removed. Took a breaker bar to do it.This has allowed me to get it our and cover plate removed as well as the torque/ flywheel bolts. So basically next Saturday I will be dropping drive shaft and brace so when daughter boyfriend comes by Sunday. It should be dropped and ready for the rebuild. Progress is moving faster now. Darn starter was holding me up. lol

Oh Hey. I forgot to tell you the guy from eBay that has company that rebuilds convertors said the cost is $143.00 dollars for a rebuilt one. I will post a link. https://www.ebay.com/itm/20228384490...4909&recoPos=1

I also spoke with him on eBay messenger about the low stall you guys have told me look for and he agreed and said to go no higher than 1,800 if you plan on doing any towing. I told him I still have to get it out and rebuild it so it would be maybe around 2 to 3 weeks before I will be ready. I believe his convertors come with a 3 year unlimited millage warranty. Once I get ready to buy it. I will have him send me some specifications of the convertor to post here for you guys to give opinions.

Thank you as well as other members for the time and patience with me on my first rebuilding journey. It has helped me a lot.

A trick that works is to tighten the bolt/nut then try taking it off. Works about 25% of the time. Worked a couple of times putting the leveling kit in yesterday. That's a good price with a 4 year, 100K warranty.

I finally broke it loose with a breaker bar. With the starter and cover removed, I can replace the trans line I twisted up not paying attention. Off and on light rain is stalling me to get the drive shaft dropped and tail brace ready for removal. Trying to get it ready for removal by this weekend. I'm going to try and get everything loose to the point where when daughter boyfriend comes. It will be more of just having two people to get it dropped and put on the table.
The last transmission I removed was in my early 20s. lol. That was a C6. Friend talked me into going the junk yard route( Big Mistake) after 6 transmissions later, I gave up and had it rebuilt which wasn't cheap. I did learn how to remover faster by the last one. lol

Little update: I have the drive shaft dropped I believe all the bolts out . There is only four bolts in the top area? I removed the starter as well as the oil filter for the 5/8, There is two bolts one on each side of the front above the shield. I have to run and get a pry bar since I couldn't find the one I have. Hopefully will have it down by mid morning tomorrow. Making progress.

OK, Now I'm scratching my head here. Starter removed, Cover plate removed both bolts ( 5/8) on both side So there should be no more to remove there. I then removed the 4 top bolts as well as the sensor. I also removed the shifter part on the bell housing. It's acting like I haven't removed something. I made a few attempts and it hasn't even given a sign that it's going to break loose. Any ideas? I will still keep looking and trying so I will either get some luck or check back here shortly to see if anyone has any ideas of what I need to check for. Thanks
