Keeping head down and making progress here so far. I have it done the the pump installed. Did a bench air check and everything worked as intended. Can't find feller gauge so going to make a stop by the auto store to pick one up on the way home so I can do check, then on to getting the band done and adjusted, Then go from there.I can say I am learning a lot from this. I am going to post a couple of pictures and will continue to update. Thanks

Well officially down to the valve body. I will admit though I had to go back in and flip the band. lol, Brain fart I would call after putting in upside down. I still thinking about get another torque wrench that goes up to 100 Num. I didn't realize the one I bought doesn't go up enough to go by the 72 lbs Num to may a proper adjustment. I'm pretty confident I did a pretty good job so far. Few hiccups but I am sure that is expected with a first time rebuild. I figure once this is done. I will be looking at a new timing chain since it hasn't been done with the millage it has. Thanks Guys.

If you are talking band adjustment, they get torqued to 72 INCH pounds.....

I'm curious what the number on the apply band lever is. Mine was 2.5 but now has a 4.2 from perf kit.

I've got a 4.2 in my transmission as well during the last rebuild.

I bought a num torque but didn't realize it only goes up to 40. Just have to break down and buy another one but one that reads high enough. I have the info just not the right torque wrench. I still have a few things to finish as well some more parts to get so not rushing here. Have a O2 sensor to replace as well as new lines. Other than a few hiccups. It wasn't bad at all.

I couldn't answer that? Would it be visible? I just know it was a deluxe kit.

That would be it's ratio. The 2.5 is stock, the 4.2 is an 'upgrade' and applies more pressure on the band.

Ok, Thanks for answering that. It's still pretty much stock here.
