Turbo Talk
Thanks brother. The plan right now is to find some external igniters off another car to connect my standalone to..
Once i do that then I have a friend who can "street" tune the computer for me so that I can drive to a dyno shopp and get fine tuned.
Trust me....im dying to get on her

I bet. When I moved down to smaller blower pullies and higher RPM custom grind cams I was very careful about getting the tune just right. Not something you want to rush. I can't wait to see how it turns out. Makes me want to build another Dakota.
can someone explain me why people go with a returnless setup with a turbo? and what is the best choice???FMU or the tune can be done using a standard FPR without stand alone fuel management?
Well BLOWN successfully tuned a supercharged 3rd Gen via an ECU flash through the OBD II Reader with some tunes from Hemifever, so no, a standalone system is not your only solution. However, Remme seems to be having a harder time tuning his remote turbo set up through Hemifever.
I'm not sure what you mean by a returnless set up?

Cant wait to see sullydetailling swapped 5.3 GM turbo but to me the best idea is still a lq4/l92 heads combo 550hp + turbo...dodge 4.7L seem like a money pit.
I regret my lifted 4x4 dakota + 1989 Trans am GTA while i could have both in the same car.( pick up box+ corvette engine manual transmission) imagine this thing turbo!

Hey turbo experts, I'm seriously considering buying an 03' 4.7 dakota that's been turbo'd. only 30k miles on motor. Guy says he dyno'd 470rwhp uncorrected with 12# with this setup here and says he it runs great at 15# which he predicts could dyno around 540, what do you guys think? (dont flame me for skipping all the hard work lol, i know you guys have been working hard on your builds)
