So I cleaned up the accessories and was getting ready to polish them and I decided I would just black them out with high-temp epoxy paint. I also got the pick-up tube and ram oil pan installed.

Here's a pic of the difference in oil pan. You can see how much more room the Ram oil pan (bottom) gives, vs the Durango pan.

The rest of my exhaust parts arrived so I installed the cat-back portion of it with the flowmaster 3" tailpipe, spintech muffler, and 3" intermediate pipe to the stock Y.

It was a 22" muffler, remember I was saying I wanted a bit quieter... well there went that idea. This muffler is MEAN, and loud... much better sound but so loud lol. Probably because of the 3" piping. Now imagine 2.5" highflow cats behind the 5.7.. it's gonna be supa loud. Here's a video of no muffler after I cut the old one off, and a vid of the new one.

You mentioned legal issues before, is the loud muffler gonna cause inspectors to take a closer (too close) look?

I have been contemplating adding a baby resonator, like what the rams have stock. Barely has an effect on flow. We will see. Most of the noise is inside though, my friend says it seems quieter now outside but I dunno.

Damn that doesn't sound half bad..patiently awaiting the second video now. And that is an incredible difference between the oil pans..isn't the Durango and Aspen AWD though?? so the front differential is just in a different location? Or maybe I'm wrong..oh and P.S. Preston, the door spears do need to go! Your truck will definitely look better without them, especially since yours are not painted.

Second video is up, ya'lls.

Yea I know, ditch the door spears haha

If you look at my other oil pan pics, you can see the shape of the durango pan from the front, how it's offset, that's where the durango differential sits in. Then the back half is sectioned out for the rear crossmember and to help with oil changes......... wtf dodge.
