It would have been as simple as motor mounts and a program, and/or vehicle specific ECU.

I actually think my passesnger side motor mount will bolt up with 3 of the 4 bolts already on the 4.7 bracket lol. What's one bolt? Nothing! Drivers side will need modding, but I can't see it being too bad but I won't know until later when I get some very precise measurements with the brackets in hand.

When Dusty did his he got one side to work with three bolts and had the other side fabricated. That is still my plan when I get out of here, an 06 R/T with 392 swap. I just got my 30k officer bonus, lol.

After its on, I'm going to order more and reproduce like 4 sets. Wish I could take care of the oil pan too, for 4wd guys, but I'm not even gonna touch it since I don't have to.

DontShoot on Dak-Dur made his brackets and sold quite a few, but there are a lot more 2nd gens out there so I don't know how many I would sell.

G2 and G3 Dakota mounts are not interchangeable. The frame mounting points are different. I had a set custom made and mailed to me. After they arrived DJwolf37 and I tried to install them. I had to seel them as they wouldn't line up. like they do on the G2s. Even a machine shop couldn't make them work.

Yep totally different, got a friend with an 04 and took one look and never looked again. Our steering shaft interferes with any conventional kit too because it needs an angle to get to the frame on almost any motor.

Btw blown, how were your solid mounts made? Would you do it again?

The first set were made my a dak-dur fab master (truebluert) but they didn't fit and he couldn't make a set for the G3. I had to sell them.

The set that is still on the truck was fabricated my Morris Racing in Omaha, NE. I got a new set of mounts, they burned away the vulcanized rubber and welded solid metal in it's place. I loved those mounts.
