Hemi Swap 1yr Plan
I still have my hoses off the o1' Dakota Hemi swap if you want them. The top hose is on the driver side "top",and has the radiator cap on the hose . The bottom is on the passenger side bottom.
As for the power steering hose , that's a very minor fix . All you'll need is a reduced piece of pipe and two hose clamps. "The Fuel lines" ... Cut both lines at the steel part of the line under the truck. Put a piece of 3/8 I.D. hose about 6" over each end and two hose clamps on each side. It will never leak..
Have a safe trip .. I hope you have a great vacation...

Hey FrenicX, I am naming you the X-man for this project. How are things going right now? I am very interested in your project, possibly going to do it myself. Yours and Evs diesel are very intriguing to me, but more so the Hemi as I already have 4.56 gears. If I was going to go with the diesel, I would have stayed with taller gears, plus I think the Hemi is definitely easier than that Cummins swap. Keep the good info coming our way as it will help those of us after you a lot. Kudos.
Best mod i ever did for my R/T was invest in a winter beater 1994 Blazer 4 X 4 for 1200 bucks.
Alright everyone, sorry for the (psudo) silence. Got back from vacation 2 weeks ago and haven't touched the truck yet. It will happen but I can't really say when yet. I have been doing overtime and working on my yard.. now I have a concrete company to argue with over a ****ty mix that was used on my porch.. so I dunno how long that will take to clear up. But you guys will be one of the first to know
Sleds, for sure the hemi swap is easier if you want do the least wiring and computer work. Just a couple connectors here and there and a reprogramming will do.. and the aforementioned stuff of course. Stock fuel pump and tank will all work, stock rad works, stock exhaust can be welded back up to the hemi manifolds (will choke it a bit, but not bad while a new exhaust system is planned)

Hey all! Sorry to keep you all waiting. I'm still a-go with the plan but the dak has been my sole source of transportation since I got a different job, can't put it out of commission for the length of time that I want to do it properly. I might get my hands on a 96 f150 standard cab 4x4 some time before spring and if I do, I'm going to tear the dak a new one.
If anyone gets started before me, or has any questions, please feel free to PM me so I get the email notification. I still have all my info and would be glad to help someone out, even if I am jealous about not being first lol.
