Hi guys!! Im sort of a new dodge owner and def new to tuning. I want to buy a programmer for my truck. I have an 03 QCSB Hemi 1500 auto. Right at this particular time im looking o get my mpg's up alil but down the road Ill be getting more into it. So far all I have is a CAI and a 2.5inch catback exhaust with the flowmaster S44. Which programmer should I go with(remember I am VERY nw to this and dont really know alot about it) and what kind of mpg increases are you guys seeing?

With the Hemi it's a lot easier to make HP, than MPG. I don't think I've ever seen more than 2 claimed MPG increase, and most get more like 1 or less.
It would be well worth your time to read though the Super Chip and Diablo threads, and get an idea of what you need, SCT is also worth a mention.

If you have no plans for engine mods then Superchips may be your best bet. If you choose SC and have no plans to trade up to an '04 or newer then I'd recommend buying a used 3815 - just make sure the seller has returned his vehicle to stock before you fork over any money. If you have plans to purchase a newer truck then it would be best to purchase the 3865 as it supports the up to the Gen IV trucks.

The trans options are locked to the VIN. You would have to purchase the trans options for your VIN.

Yes sir, but as Rich mentioned make sure the used tuner you're buying is not locked.

So I just picked up the 3950 and i think i updated it correctly. the Cortex says V.1.21.08. Is that correct? I downloaded the new superchips updater program to my pc and it updated the firmware, but didnt say anything about the updates to the tunes/software. I think something is wrong with the Superchips updater program site. I tried to dl the free tpms off road package and it did nothing. It does say the Data aquisition package is installed. Will there only be 2 tabs on the SC updater program, My account and Store?
I cant "submit" my product registration either to enable the warrenty. Filled everything out but the Submit button wont work.
Sorry, I am new to the Superchips tuners any help is appreciated.
