I just got my 3865 this weekend and yes you just have to go to the Advanced tune option and where it has tire size, speedo, etc it should have a disable MDS function. It's really not that hard to find.

I do have one more issue though: when I try to buy the advanced trans upgrade, I get an error message at checkout... And I'm still not able to register on the superchips forum. (the confirmation email sender is broken)

As for the performance, I must say I am very happy. No more throttle lag or MDS to get in the way of power; and even with just the SC proprietary tuning the tranny shifts much better. Can't wait to burn through the 89 oct in my tank so I can try out the performance tune.
Nice! SC proprietary trans tuning is good. When you do a custom schedule, then you'll really be loving it!

Default superchips code E-31

I could use some help, bought a Cortex 3950 for my 2005-1500 Ram and it is coding E-31, cannot detect ignition on, SC uploaded the files from the programer and said it's good, case #88603, so how do I trouble shoot this problem? The electonics are bone stock and the truck has very low milage 13,325, any ideas, tips or advice would be great!

When you're following the prompts during tuning, are you moving the ignition to the furthest point forward without starting the vehicle?

Is there anything attached to the ignition aftermarket? Vehicle alarm, remote start, etc? If so, disable or put them into valet.

I'm attempting to get a trans temp reading from my programmer but am having no luck.
I have a 2008 1500 4.7L 545RFE and the 3865 programmer.
The option for trans temp is there when I look through all of the available display options for data logging, but when I select it, I get no reading. It's not a zero reading or an obviously bad number, there's just nothing there at all. I'm about to sell my 3865 to purchase a VIVID LINQ for my phone when it becomes available, so my questions are: should my 3865 display my transmission temperature (the option is there so I assume it should) and will the new VIVID LINQ display the transmission temperature for my truck?

Default Superchips codes

I have got past code E-31 by holding the key almost to where it will start the engine, now it's stuck in recovery mode, when it goes though the key sequence, it gives me a code G-5B, the tuner has been updated, it is vin locked to my vin number, any ideas?
