Do you tow? If not, have you ever thought about ditching the hitch?

I dont tow, but that hitch has saved my bumper twice since I bought the truck and I dont really mind the extra weight there. Reg Cabs have horrible traction because of the short wheel base and lack of weight so the little extra is ok for now.

I guess that extra ballast could help get a little more traction back there.

Total side note, it is nice to see a performance thread on here. It has been too long since the last time there was some performance talk going on.

agreed on the performance thread. if this talk keeps goin, it should be stickied.

the launch i did was in 4hi. i cant launch in 2wd without gettin sideways.

If the thread keeps going strong for a little while I will stick it.

I can't really imagine how you 2wd guys get off the line without going sideways every time bc I have the same problem that AF has when launching in 2wd.

i wish i could get some grip in 2wd. 4hi seems like it drags me down quite a bit. im gonna go out and do a run with each with the new datalogging stuff. i'll report back in a little while

**** I need more power. I cant even spin them from a dig in 2wd

Oh yeah, traction is a problem. It rained today so I didn't even try. But I am looking forward to seeing what works.
