Welcome to the forum 
No, just use either OEM Champions or NGK V-Power plugs. They run best with a standard copper core plug and need replaced every 30K miles anyway, so don't waste your money on the gimmick plugs.
Persoanlly I will be using these NGK5306 I know that local NAPA stores sell them.

Champion coppers run as well or better than any of the "high end" plugs, oddly. I've used some of the high end platinums in other engines with great results, but at 30k, I put the Bosch Platinums in the Hemi. I've had fantastic results in my Jeeps & GC's with the 4.0 I6 with them. The Hemi ran like crap, and Champions went in within about a week.
It's a blessing, actually, since you need 16 of 'em every 30k anyway...

High end Platinum plugs are marginally better in certain situations. For the most part, Copper plugs outperform anything else. It's simply the best conductor. The only downside is they don't last as long. Platinum plugs are only used by manufacturers and as as sales stand point because they have very long maintenance intervals.
The Copper plugs are the most consistent and most reliable plug you could buy!

NGK's are a good plug and the v-powers are decently cheap cost wise.

i find that hard to belive ....plugs wont give you a mpg gain of that nature....from what i have read, but i could be wrong but sounds highly not likley
