I have 55w in my headlights and fogs. They have burned (made a white mark) a little on the reflecter parts of the light but it isnt really noticable. Other than that all good.

I read through a couple pages and couldn't find my problem, don't have time or patience to read through 55 pages, so if anyone could help me it would be very greatly appreciated. I bought the beamers HID kit for my fogs (9006's in my 07' 1500) worked great for a month, now neither work, getting 10.4V at both factory plus, bulbs will not work, tried a set of stock bulbs, those do not work either. Tried a lamp tester and the lamp won't light up (no complete circuit?) my guess is i lost a ground or my switch is NFG, fog light indicator on dash still flashes on and off though. inspected the wiring, couldn't visually see any problems. is 10.4V DC the correct voltage i should be getting? any suggestions or solutions would be greatly appreciated!! thanks for reading.

Just to note i have the harness ordered to get power directly from the battery, with fuses built directly in. Just wondering if i could fix my original problem first.

Sounds like the issue I had, but mine was my headlights. Come to find out dodge has a bulb monitoring system and my HID kit either fried mine or caused it to completely turn off til it was reset. I wound up trading in the pickup before I fixed it

interesting, thanks for the reply! I disconnected my battery hoping to reset my computer but the fogs still aren't working, i imagine it's only something that can be reset from the dealer, but every guy i have talked to from the service department just plays his part.. stupid. My favorite is when they pretend to be shocked that the fogs aren't fused..

If your OEM bulbs are not working in the OEM headlight plugs then you have TIPM issues and it is a one way trip to the dealer. You can reset the PCM but cannot reset the TIPM

That's what i am scared of, was hoping it would just be a bad ground or bad switch. Thanks for the reply.

Unfortunately, there are no "real" switches. Everything is controlled electronically now
