Can't add them in the HID harness because the harness one plugs into one OEM headlight plug and you need resistors on both sides.

So either put the resistors on the OEM headlight wiring or buy a pre-made PnP resistor harness off eBay.

yes you can wire into the hid harness its no different than wiring in the oem harness just doing It on other side of oem harness and if your not doing a Bi Level kit one resistor per side and yes the p side will have to go into the oem harness and watch the PNP Harnesses some suck mine was wired wrong and so I still had to wire them In right If I had known that Id just bought Resistors alone

There is a picture on this website that shows you how they wire the Load Resistors on the HID relay harness....

Scroll all the way to the last product picture.

Some sellers either unaware or just don't care get moved up between 9007 and 9004. Both are blue D shaped plugs.

With a HID harness that only has one D shaped connector, usually on our trucks that is connected to the drivers side headlight plug because the battery is on the D/S.

Because that one harness powers both ballasts, this means there is nothing connected to the passenger side OEM D shaped headlight plug so there is no way to connect them into the HID harness when it doesnt/cannot connect to both sides, thus leaving the OEM wiring the only place to connect them

The HID Relay Harness that I got from the retrofit source only connections on one side (I chose driver's side) and I don't have a bulb out warning or any flickering....

I've seen other Harnesses that use two relays and connect to BOTH headlight plugs, which isn't a bad thing.... it's just overkill to do it that way, when you can use a DPDT relay, one connection and call it a day...

Some of your more pricey and reputable ballasts are CANBUS and/or made for certain vehicles in mind to prevent that issue.

Been using $10 ballasts on my truck, wife's car and even my bikes for years.

If you understand how things work and why they work the way they do, you can manipulate almost anything to work for you.

I don't trust cheap stuff when it comes to things like that... I have a house up in the mountains and like to know I can 100% rely that my headlights will work when I need them to... Not saying that you can't rely on yours, just saying that I'm more comfortable with something that's slightly over engineered...

Trust me, I understand. I've never had to replace a ballast though. A couple of bulbs over the years (normal) and a couple of relays (my fault also - water damage).

I have learned to use reputable projectors versus cheaper ones.

HIDs are flashing because relay is clicking. Relay is clicking because power to the relay which comes from the OEM headlight plug is being cut off. Power is being cut off because PCM doesn't see a load thus the need for the load resistors.

Check your connections and try again
