My Avenger which is mainly driven by my son has the same basic seats as we do in the truck accept under the mesh stuff is cloth on his which I like they wife clean andlook nice but the drivers seat is wearing funning it is sorta fraying a bit so they ordered and near seat bottom or cover whichever. No questions asked. It is obvious wear but they are just fixing it, they didn't ask any questions at all. Forgot to mention around 29000 km

I use it is a daily white collar commute car, not for work ie not tools or other sharp objects on the seat or in my pockets.

Anyone seen the same? Any experience with Chrysler dealers response to this?
my 09 has 8000 miles on it and it is babbied......I too had two rips in my leather seat..I will post pics.

warranty is covering it but then what...????

ATTENTION!!! There is now a recall for those of us with vented leather seats. It was issued on Aug.27

Code is : CSN K10 PERFORATED SEAT COVERS

You need to input your last 8 of the vin and it comes up. Their link is a little bit wonky atm but you can find it from here: http://www.jeep.com/webselfservice/jeep/index.jsp
Just copy and paste it.

The recall is only for seats with a stitched seam in the front of the seat. The ones without are not included in this. I have the ones without, my second one is torn now. Not too happy about it.

Just spoke with the dealer...mine falls under the recall.

dealer said it was 13 pages long and it appears to be the covers and cushions for the front seats.

I will let you guys know how it goes!!!

for some reason when I type the last 8 digits and press ok, it takes me back to the Jeep front page again. Tried the same on the dodge.com site and the same happened. Any suggestions?
