My Avenger which is mainly driven by my son has the same basic seats as we do in the truck accept under the mesh stuff is cloth on his which I like they wife clean andlook nice but the drivers seat is wearing funning it is sorta fraying a bit so they ordered and near seat bottom or cover whichever. No questions asked. It is obvious wear but they are just fixing it, they didn't ask any questions at all. Forgot to mention around 29000 km

Well, this weekend I spotted three short cracks in the leather on the driver seat. They are fairly short, one is about 1/2 of an inch and the other two are a little less ie crack between three ventilation holes. They are all located in the same area on the front seat, on the left side near the front. I am absolutely amazed that this has happened to a truck that is only 1.5years old with 18k on the clock. I use it is a daily white collar commute car, not for work ie not tools or other sharp objects on the seat or in my pockets.
Anyone seen the same? Any experience with Chrysler dealers response to this?

ATTENTION!!! There is now a recall for those of us with vented leather seats. It was issued on Aug.27
Code is : CSN K10 PERFORATED SEAT COVERS
