For those who's key fob stops working....
Guys, I've said this before, but I think it needs repeating.
It's not the FOBs or the receiver.
I have had my door open before when I tried to lock it with my FOB. When it didn't work, I immediately went and hit the actual door lock button in the door of the truck.
THAT DIDN'T WORK EITHER.
The issue is something much deeper than just the FOB not communicating properly, as the actual door lock INSIDE the truck doesn't work either when this happens.

I had this same thing, the fob worked, then would not, sometimes it would after pressing 30x, sometimes not at all. Then it would be just fine.
Dealer checked it and said battery was ok. They just ordered new FOB's and all has been well for 1 month now. Seems like just replacing the FOB's worked for me.

It is a system problem .. they receiving module acknowledges the signal from the FOB, the dealership has confirmed this. It just chooses not to act on that signal. All components have been replaced twice with no change. Chrysler confirms my truck has been out of service with this issue for 54 days in the year I owned it with no resolution. I have started Lemon Law arbitration as it appears they have a fix for the 2010/2011 but not the 2009. By the way, the 2009 used parts from a different manufacture than the 2010 and 2011, and it is the only year the used that manufacturer. It makes me think there is no known fix for that set of components, hence the change in manufacturer. That also suggests the 2009 will never be fixed, and since this can be considered a safety issue, it falls under the Lemon Law of most states.
It does not, as the 2009 used a different manufacturer for the WIM components.

I went through the lemon law "arbitration" with my 08. Good luck.
Basically they are going to make you an offer on your truck minus milage plus maybe something for you extras that you have added if you have a receipt and give you an msrp credit. If you start a new loan on the new truck, anything that you have paid towards interest or pricipal will be lost. So if you are going to buy a new/more expensive truck, then you will have to come out of pocket. Their "arbitration" in my case was just some lady that kept telling me what they were offering me and that if I didn't take it she was going to have to report back that I wouldn't cooperate. If you mention the word lawyer, she tells them that and they won't deal with you anymore. At one point, she told me their offer and I told her to tell them my offer. She said that they don't communitcate back that way.
I should have just gotten a lawyer to handle it. It was a huge hassle and the dealer wound up ordering the wrong truck for me. So I was stuck with a few less options than I had ordered and paid for.
Mine does this as well.

Based on yours and other experience, I will probably not agree to arbitration and hire an attorney.
Thanks..
My 2010 has remote start, and was hving this problem. I did the same thing as this poster and it also fixed my issue as well.
I have had mine on the all 4 setting since day one and my doors still never opened until I changed over to my reserve (never used) FOB.
