I did even better then that he got behind a slow car in the right lane and I stayed just enough behind the car on the right where he could not pass me. Probably the reason he flipped me off. I know road rage but hey it was late I was by myself and there was really no other cars around. PS. by the way we caught up to the car it was not a pick.

Having driven a 5.4 raptor I tend to agree... Ford OHC motors tend not to have the most torque s hopefully they fix that for the 6.2 single valve.

The only reason I think the raptor might have an advantage is that it is geared lower and it has a six speed tranny so has way better effective gearing. (but 35 BFG AT KO).

What year was the Mustang GT? I owned a 2006 Mustang GT and it was running high 13's stock at about 101 mph... Then I got an intake/tune and gears and it was running high 12's at 108 with slicks. It would run circles around my hemi. But anything can happen on the street and if you got a jump and he couldn't drive then I could see you winning..

I have no idea what year the Mustang was. I didn't think to stop him while he was flipping me off to ask Anyway it was one of the newer body style mustangs. I beleive it was mostly driver to be honest but a win is a win. He shifting was horribly I could hear tha car everytime he shifted and there was way to much time between shifts and I pulled away everytime he shifted. If I remember correctly he shifted two time so I would guess third gear and then we let off.

Give me a break, even the Hemi Ram has got no chance against a Mustang GT.
Uhhh, yes it does I took one from the light, by 30MPH he shut it down just as I was really putting the distance on him. He was on my *** hunting me down until we got to that light. I dont know the year, a newer body style with the round lights in the grill.

i am going to belive the 4.7 ram guy, i have a 2005 4.7 dakota with a few mods an can whoop a$$ on hemi rams. granted the weight difference is a major factor but so is the 125 shot of nitrous, i have only came across to vechicles that i cant beat in a street race, 1, 1987 buick grand national, 2, subaru wrx turbo all wheel drive. i have seen nissan maximas eat up mustang gts all night long in the street. an yes. it all depends on the driver an if you can hook coming off the line,
