Just picked mine up and the 'Fuel Saver' light is there. I'm really amazed at how easy it is to keep it in Fuel Saver mode.

I'm scheduled for tomorrow at 1100. I had no problem with the dealer once I gave them the tsb number. He pulled it up, said my truck qualifies. So hopefully like some of the other posters I will have the fuel saver option tomorrow.

If it works, I am going to write Dodge a thank you note. So far I have had no issues with working with two different dealerships on warranty work. I have not used the dealership where I purchased the truck. It is out of the way, but they did have the best deal at the time.

I stopped by my dealer today and they knew nothing about it and couldn't find it in their computer, I even gave them the number.

you should take that as a sign to find another dealer if there is one close. i drive out of my way to a dealer (twice as far) but they resolved a few simple issues that took me several trips to the first dealer (never resolved at the first one).
the first dealer actually called me last week to say that they had finally ordered a part i needed; my last visit there, 02/02/10. thanks!
they are doing you a favor darko, find a good service location before you waste a load of time!

Hmmmmm the new software version from TBS 08-007-10 has some bugs on my truck (2009 Laramie 4x4 build date October 2008 Canadian version).
The temperature reading (coolant/oil temp) is 5 degrees lower then the real values stored in the PCM. Also US Metric isn't supported anymore in the System info menu, it display Metric values instead.

Anyone here with an Canadian (laramie) truck with the same symptoms after the dealer installed the new flash for the Instrument cluster?

If my service rep can find the TSB I will let you know if I have the same problem. By the looks of it might not be for a while. This is the first I have heard of those issues from the TSB. You should take it back to the place you got it done.

Did you check the setup for the evic and see if the fuel saver light is in the menu? Is your an SLT or better in interior. I believe, Basic models won't have it .

Only problem I had was I had to call Sirius for whatever reason the radio lost it, but a phone call and they had it working in 2 seconds, I just sent my wife outside to see if we still have the option to change from Metric to US. Everything is the same so far so good.
