I have a feeling my dealership I am using now has spent some money on education because my wife said she saw a guy take the truck outside of the service reception and hooked something up to it, spent a few minutes which looked like pushing buttons then the truck sat there for 15 minutes and they came and told her it was done. All is well. I hope you guys can get your dealerships to get with the program. I am a bit nervous now about installing a lockpick, I just want it for the camera capabilities and so I don't have to pay more than the price of the lockpick in labour. Also you get a 12v supply and 12v acc supply and a ground so you can hook up something else like a dvd player for the rear or something like that.

 

My service rep tried to be helpful, it was a slow day and he spent a good while looking for it but there was nothing in the computer. Hopefully the dealer just hasn't got it yet.

You can change it with it in park running, not in drive. Ours was in Metric when she picked it up my wife just yelled to me from the kitchen, she just remembered but she changed it because well showing our age we prefer US it's what we grew up with.

 

Go to a different dealer, try the biggest one around~! I have been waiting a month for my header bolts.

 

Yeah, I checked that. There is no fuel saver option in the evic menu. BTW I have a sport, with about everything on it, except ram box, nav, and moon roof.

 

Did you guys give the dealer both TSB #'s posted in the sticky. I didn't give the number to my dealer at first I just said I heard there was a TSB for the ECO light and she said hmm let me look then she said your manifold bolts are not here we have 2 but you need 4 I said what about the TSB she said when do you want to bring it in I said tomorrow she said ok. She asked if I had the TSB # I said yes and gave it to her, she punched some numbers and she repeated it then said okay see you tomorrow. So whatever number it is here there I have no idea all I know is I gave the number I posted and I am a happy camper.

 

Yeah I'll just try a bigger dealer. The biggest dealer in KY is about 20 miles up the road from the one I went to today so i'll try it next.

Well supposedly someone came up with another number...and is posted in a sticky by Doc Fluty . What I don't get is why did they try it, the computer must have said something for them to get you in.........I don't think the girl on the phone even wrote down the number I gave her. My wife even handed it to her when she went there and she told her she didn't need it. Like I posted I didn't even give her the number right away.
What else can I give ya? Or show ya? Do you need to see the light on? Then get on your dealers butt. Maybe the fix does not fix all of them? They let you come in tells me they know something, other guys are getting a flat out never heard of it.

 

You need to show me a pic of your window sticker beside the fuel saver light or this is complete horse****
