Default power window problem

Had the power window on the drivers side replaced.
Then the passenger side stoppped working.
I decided too do it my self this time.
But before i baought a new motor. I checked the power too the motor.
I have no power at the motor. I then hooked up a seperate power source too the motor and it works.
So, any suggestions to why i dont have any power going too the motor when i hit the up or down button. Even drivers button wont send power too the motor.
Thanks for any help
mike

Welcome to DF
Do you have a lock out switch on the master window switch?

Are you talking about a 1986 or a 2011 Caravan?

On your 02 window power comes off the accessory relay, through a fuse, through a circuit breaker then on to the switches. If any of those first three were bad none of the windows would work. It appears a switch is bad or you have an open in the wiring downstream of the switch.

I ran power too the window motor useing a spare battery and wires. It goes up and down when i switch wires back and forth.
The drivers window works fine.
Must be a bad wire then... this should be fun too find.

Should see power at contact #1 at both the driver's and passenger's switch harness (both wht/pink wire ID). Should see ground at contacts 2&3 at the driver's switch harness and contact #7 at the passenger"s - all black/brown wire ID.

where is the drivers switch harness your taking about.
I had a service garage change the drivers window motor. I have had problems with the passenger window ever since. Could they have messed something up.
thanks

It's the wire harness that connects to the buttom of the window switch panel inside the driver's door. In order to change the drivers door window motor they had to remove the door trim panel. The switch assembly is mounted to the trim panel. They would have to disconnect the switch panel harness to remove the trim panel.

So theres a good chance they may have messed up the wire when they changed the motor out. Is this a possibility.
thanks Mike
