Hey Im new here so hello to everyone. So Im having some weird issues with my Caravan.

Recently I had a check engine light come on followed by the interior lights staying on constantly. Also along with the lights staying on when the key is removed from the ignition the dinging starts even with the door closed. Ive tried disconnecting and reconnecting the battery in hopes of resetting it. Im starting to wonder if the van is possessed....

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Before the lights came on, Was the van just in for repairs? Or were working on something in the van? By any chance do you know what code was for the check engine light. Because I'm just guessing a BCM.

I had gotten it back from some recent exhaust work and a recharge of the battery as the battery was completely dead. I had it towed to the shop for the work. I didnt get the codes yet. How is this done?

Thanks for moving it for me, Im still a lil site retarded

 

On some models you can cycle key 3 times and leave it on, And you will see a P code come up. Or you will need a scanner.

 

i got P1684 as a code

 

P1684 is battery disconnect code.
