Default Spark plug type and size

I'm away from my van but need to get new spark plugs the ones I have are original. It's a 97 3500b with a 5.2l 8 cylinder engine. What plugs do I need and what type are best for it?
Thank everyone

Stick with copper plugs though, the rare-earth fellers tend to cause some interesting issues.

Autolites, or NGK are usually good choices.

Well, I finally got to the Van and managed to get the dog house off the wires and the plugs are new and not showing any wear. I was really hoping they were original as new plugs would help with fuel economy.

What brand/type of plugs are in it? Did you pull a couple to see what they look like?

Yes I pulled 4 they looked fine there were NGK so were the wires. The air filter was new also. We have only put about 3000 km on since we got the RV. the work must have been done just before we bought it.

Well, it's a 6000 pound brick you are pushing thru the air, so 'fuel economy' isn't going to be one of its strong points. I think if you can manage 11-12 around town, and 13-14 on the freeway, you'll be doing good.
