Water in the driver-side footwell
Hi guys,
new to the forum and hoping you guys might be able to help me out.
My 2000 Dodge Durango has water leaking into the drivers footwell.
Other cars that I have owned over the years have had minor interior leaks and the cause has always been a clogged drain - like around the sunroof.
On the truck, I could not find any drain lines to try to unclog and did not find any other obvious source.?.?.? Of course, I have never actually seen a leak either.
The leak is only on the drivers side and seems to be almost directly under the pedals...was dry back near the seat.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure it isn't coolant by smell and touch. Coolant has a sweet smell and a greasy feel to it. If it is it's your heater core. Although I doubt this is your issue as it is usually a leak on the passenger side floorboard. Other than that I'd have to look at my D. Do a search for "clogged drain" or something like that I know it has been an issue in the past.

Any special place I need to look for the grommets, or will it be obvious once I am under the hood?
