HeyYou, I've been wishing for this one for quite some time! Made more financial sense than getting a plow for the truck (good reasoning to convince the wife, eh?) Just spent 2 hours on it, relocating snowbanks and scraping the driveway. Oh.My.God. The most fun I've had in a long time!

Wait till summer. It only gets worse. You will find yourself LOOKING for things to do with your loader.... and if it gets really bad, you will find yourself doing things with your loader that either A: you shouldn't be.... or B: it's serious overkill. Yep. Voice of experience. (I rented one for a few days, and didn't wanna give it back.)

these trucks do amazing things with plows on them! been plowing with mine for 5 years now, and shes getting retired this weekend, when i swap the wiring and plow to my new truck.
i noticed youre from good ole NH!!! where abouts?! im in Rochester, not far from Portsmouth.
if the gvrw is 8800 or higher, its safetly only! thank God, cause my abs and brake light are now on after i did the ball joints...
Ok I've got to ask?? What did you do to cause this? And if they did a safety inspection and don't look at your dash and see that your ABS & brake light are on then how is this SAFETY? Aren't brakes needed to be safe in NH?

lol yeah, its one of the abs speed sensors on the front. i had already been inspected, and failed for ball joints and the left outer TRE. so when i go back, they only check what failed. the abs and brake lights werent on during the original inspection.
but yes, in nh, any light can be on, on the dash, and as long as everything checks out and it has an 8800 gvrw it will pass inspection.
Fixed my exhaust. What I thought was going to be a complete replacement, turned in to a 10 dollar fix. (to give to my buddy whose garage I used.... he has a hoist, a bitchin' nice wire welder, and HEAT.) Pipe broke at a joint, so, cut off the screwed up ends, slip a piece of pipe inside the two, weld it up, done. The truck is TOO quiet now though.... I can't even hear the motor when doing 60 down the road.
