CONGRATULATIONS!

I myself just had 16th anniversary. You know, I don't think I could do that today. There isn't a single truck that I can love that much for that long made today, by Ram or anybody. And the prices they want is just moronic. Dodge definitely hit a home run on the 2nd gens.

I agree that the new ones are overpriced and nothing currently in show rooms would I be likely to keep for 20 years. But if someone wanted to give me a 2017 2500 Ram crew cab with a Cummins I'd be willing to try and get the next 20 out of it!

Default Acceleration problem

I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 , 5.2 , it has new short headers and new exhaust with a new cat , when I full throttle I have no power , the rpms just move slowly with the mph, before I used to punch it and the rpms would sky rocket as well as my speed , idk what's the problem , I only have a Oxygen sensor code

O2 sensor doesn't matter at WOT. Think I would check fuel pressure though.

IcurYY4me,

Great fab skills and while I understand the 'why' behind your modified tailgate, it pains me to see a perfect 2nd Gen get hacked up

Lighten up Francis it was just a tailgate

Good job on the fab work IcurYY4me, especially taking the time to move the handle

Installed Sulastic rubber shackle springs. They really help the ride comfort when rolling around empty! All trucks should have these from factory. Definitely a huge improvement

under tailgate led strip had many lights out so I picked up a new CHEAP replacement for $15 shipped off of ebay
http://www.ebay.com/itm/60-Tail-Gate...53.m2749.l2649

the replacement has the back up lights and MAN are they bright.. what was nice is that it fit in the plastic track of the strip the original owner installed so I just removed the lights and installed this new strip in the track..
